Testimonials:

"When I have an opportunity to work with Christian - I jump at it. I know the results will be spectacular and always exceed expectations. For Tracking, Mixing (live/recorded work/remixes), Production, or just as someone with good solutions when I need solid studio advice, Christian is my (and should be your) go-to guy." - Steve Turnidge, ArsDivina artist, mastering engineer

"Christian is a pure joy to have on your team. He is one of the most present and conscientious sound support people we have ever worked with. Christian becomes that critical additional band member for the evening and is there for the event's highest good, devoid of attitude and resistance. He is completely available for the artist in whatever way he can be to facilitate ease, calm and the best sound for both the musicians and the environment. When I know that he is mixing one of our shows, I instantly relax and know that I will wear wings on stage and shed any worry of having to assuage the sound person's fragile ego to get what we need up there. With Christian on board, it is all about his service to the artist's songs and the audience's experience at the venue. Christian you are a true gift to bands everywhere!" - Cilette Swann, artist Gypsy Soul

I've worked with Christian as a fellow sound tech and as a musician for about ten years. In that time he has always been solidly reliable, tasteful, and motivated. I've been a sound guy for 30 years, and I've learned more from working with Christian over the last ten years than I have from anyone else in my career. He's a master at finding the key elements of the music and getting them to the front, and doing it despite all the emotional, technical, and political challenges of a live show. In the studio, I've seen him take raw rehearsal tracks recorded with crap microphones in a living room and magically turn them into radio-ready mixes. As a musician, the mixes he's done for my bands, both live and studio, have always hit the sweet spot of what the band was trying to sound like, sometimes when we didn't know ourselves what we were aiming for. I am looking forward to working with him again soon." - Walter Harley, fellow sound engineer, bassist of "Purty Mouth" (local Alt-Country combo)

"I have known Christian Heilman for over 15 years, playing music, arranging gigs, promoting events, producing & engineering a CD, and I also hired him for a number of years for my company, Shasta Visions, to be my Mac computer technician, network administrator, graphic design and artwork coordinator, webmaster and all-around trouble shooter. He has a vast knowledge of all things Mac, and whatever he doesn't know he can research, find out and fix in about 2 minutes. His attention to detail in our engineering projects has made our bands' CD sound amazing, and he is constantly surprising me with new ideas, sounds and possibilities. He has a great work ethic, is absolutely trustworthy, and is an all-around creative genius I have thoroughly enjoyed working with and plan to for many more decades! Please feel free to call me anytime." - Sincerely, Richard Lucas, bassist, Co-Producer - Soundfarm. "Christian Heilman did a great job engineering my recording project. He had the recording equipment ready with whatever sound we needed and was able to expertly navigate the stops and starts in the process. He made the project run smoothly as we were simply never waiting on the equipment . I would work with Christian again at any time in the future" - Scott Moore, producer/songwriter - The Accidental Markers

"Christian mixed our recent album Elbow Coulee and we couldn't be much happier with the process and the result. Christian has everything we were lacking; experience, patience, organization, and follow-through. The experience was evident in his proficiency and ease on his equipment. Anything we asked or wanted was granted when it came to manipulating and mixing the tracks. Not once did we have a problem that he couldn't work out. We were most thankful for his ability to keep to a schedule. We were really floundering trying to finish the album and Christian came in and saved the day by laying out a plan and making sure we followed it. Christian was always available on the phone and internet and always helpful. He really saved the day on our whole project. - Andrew Tuller from Elbow Coulee

"I am amazed that even working with Christian from another continent could be such a wonderful experience. He combines so many talents which focus into a brilliant audio result. I trust him, and that says it all." Cheers, Neil
